Oxford The oldest university in Britain was founded here in 1249. A thousand years of lovely honey-coloured buildings gives this renowned educational centre a unique and memorable atmosphere. There will be time to visit an Oxford College and your guide will explain the many fascinating traditions of this beautiful city. The Cotswolds Driving into the Cotswold Hills, you will see some of England's most beautiful countryside interspersed with pretty villages such as Stow-on-the-Old and Burford. The tour will stop in Bladon at a typical English pub where there will be an option to enjoy pub lunch Christ Church College Many of the scenes in the Harry Potter films were shot in various locations of the college.The Great Hall was replicated in the film studios to create Hogwart's Hall. Shakespeares's Stratford-Upon-Avon A delightful Market town at the edge of the Forest of Arden and the birthplace of the world’s greatest writer, William Shakespeare. Visit the halftimbered house where Shakespeare was born in 1564 and gain a fascinating insight into life as it was when he was a child. We then visit the world famous, picturesque thatched cottage, childhood home of Shakespeare’s wife Anne Hathaway.
